Catering
In addition to our canteens, we also offer catering for all school events from a small morning tea to a Year 12 Graduation. We also cater for off-site events such as school Athletics and Swimming carnivals.
We have catered for several other schools’ events on the Central Coast including Kariong Mountains High School, Erina High School, Gosford Public School, Gosford East Public School and St Patricks Catholic Primary School.
Proven Track Record
Across the coast
We have a proven track record since 2015 of catering for the needs of school canteens with numbers up to 1100 students and we have formed excellent business partnerships with our schools, fully understanding their needs and working alongside their calendars to catering for all of their events.
We have worked alongside our schools providing work placements within our canteens for their hospitality students and this has proven to be very successful at both Henry Kendall High School and St Edwards College.
Chef Curated
To Ensure quality
Our menus are reviewed each term by our chefs with a focus on nutritional homemade food rather than bought in frozen products and processed foods. We offer modern exciting ideas for our food which our team constantly update to reflect what the students are buying on the high street. A recent successful example of this system is our introduction of Poke bowls which have proved hugely popular within all our schools.
Our popular daily recess specials such as Tomato, Feta, Spanish Onion and Basil Bruschetta and Vietnamese Vegetable and Mango Rice Paper Rolls and lunch specials such as Char Sui Pork with Fried Rice, Honey Soy Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry and Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni are all freshly made each morning, with an extensive range of salads, poke bowls, freshly made salad wraps and fruit and yoghurt pots available every day.
Environmental Impact
Our Approach
Plant Based
The most sustainable food is plant based. So, a plant-based menu in our canteens is a win-win. We still include nutritious food like meat, poultry, seafood and eggs, however plant-based foods now form a significant part of our menus.
Keep it Local
Local food is an environmental plus because it means the food has not had to travel too far and has racked up fewer ‘food miles’. Buying local also has social benefits because it’s more personal. We have got to know our suppliers and always support local growers and food businesses such as Eastcoast Beverages and Kilarney Vale Bakery.
Keep It Seasonal
Buying produce in season is a good strategy for adding variety to our menus, reducing costs and improving sustainability. It is also more in-sync with nature and in a world where many children do not know where their food comes from, seasonal eating provides an amazing learning opportunity for our students.
